I grew up in Connecticut near New York City, and have been moving steadily closer to Boston since attending Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY. After graduating from Vassar College with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature, I worked in Boston for two years at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute while taking pre-medical coursework at the Harvard Extension School. From there I attended the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington, Connecticut, and subsequently did my Internal Medicine Residency and advanced training in Cardiovascular Disease at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital/the Miriam Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island.

I joined the Cardiovascular Consultants of Cape Cod in the summer of 2009. My clinical interests include non-invasive cardiology, preventative cardiology, and the role of obstructive sleep apnea in cardiovascular disease.

I enjoy furniture making in what little spare time I can find. At one point in my life I was also an avid rugby player and long-distance runner. I actually completed the Boston Marathon in 1998. Most of my "running" today has something to do with chasing two young children and errands for my wonderful wife.
